章 1165: The Incubator.

His father shook his head. "If it is what you think it is, then he is a burden on the others. He will affect the others if he remains attached to the Mother plant. But if he is not a burden, then he should survive without the mother plant."

That is logic that he couldn't argue against. The subordinate could only agree and cut the fruit that Legion-5 was in away from the mother plant. He was then carried away and placed in an incubator. The incubator was then attached to him to supply some nutrients that he might need. 

The subordinate said, "I hope you can survive."

Legion-5 is doing well and they don't know why but that doesn't mean it is a good thing for the other eggs. His father believes that Legion-5 has found a way to continue using up resources from the mother plant to grow. Those resources are meant for the eggs that are still viable.
