It turns out that making yourself into ammunition to be tossed at something in order to invoke primal fission through a direct existential collision is not a good idea after all. There is a risk of cracking the consciousness of those that volunteered themselves as ammunition. No one told them that when they were keeping for the job. In fact, by all logic and the reasoning of all that is possible, this shouldn't be happening.
Fortunately for the gods, their attack ultimately won the clash. Theirs is a dynamic attack. They have protective mechanisms put in place to protect them from the fallout of a collision. They also have the divinity to replenish lost energy and power. So while the Static Black skull reduced in power, theirs remained constant and eventually won the clash.
"That was unexpected but things are still on track. We can still do this." Zernon said to the reeling Stelios.
