章 526: A Very Human Thing To Do

Mila was in an excellent mood as she began working on her audiobook. She could only do it for so long because her voice would give out and that was when she would get back to work on her marketing job. 

She was tired but happy. She was finally getting some traction in the field she actually wanted to be in and that mattered more than all of the weird things going on in her life. 

Leo's behavior hadn't changed much, though he had started going out for longer periods of time and she had no idea where he went. She couldn't focus on that too much since she was so busy. But whenever he wasn't out and she wasn't working, they went out to do things.

Mila couldn't afford to constantly go out and do activities so most of what they did was free. Going to the park and swinging on swings at night when there weren't any kids around, borrowing board or card games to play, or going on walks down the beach.
