章 524: I Must Be Losing My Mind

Drew became more curious about Mila as time went on. Since he couldn't physically do anything more than half of the time, there wasn't much else he could do but think. 

Of the three things that consumed his thoughts, she was the least unpleasant. Another had sent him into a complete tailspin for days because of the implications after he heard a conversation between Mila and Leo a while back.

The cat said his stomach had been pumped and she said that only could have happened if he had attempted suicide or been poisoned. Obviously, he didn't try to kill himself so that only left one possibility that raised more than a few questions. Who wanted to kill him? How had it happened? And why would they do it?

Those were the main ones but there were countless other questions related to them. Drew still couldn't remember anything from arriving home on a Friday night to waking up with the cat cuddling Mila very early Monday morning.
