章 461: I Guess You Really Are That Oblivious

Years passed like this. Years of day-to-day life adjusting to the way things were, going home to Damien's family on holidays, and occasionally meeting other relatives who came to see Simon. And Maisie still didn't know what he actually felt about her. 

She was afraid to ask. She knew he hadn't wanted this. 

Damien might have gone back to the work he loved when they moved to Michigan but he couldn't really do anything else for himself because he was stuck with her. She often wondered if he regretted his decision. 

Danielle had gotten herself a boyfriend the year before and now lived with him and his five-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. She seemed happy and Maisie couldn't help but worry that Damien wanted the same thing but felt like he couldn't have it because of her. 

People had begun asking them when they were going to get married too at family functions. Mostly Alicia since she didn't know Maisie was a witch and adored her.
