章 405: I Should Have Anticipated This

Sylvie took that as another "don't ask questions" direction. This guy was seriously secretive. She was beginning to suspect she married a criminal. Not that she really cared as long as it didn't come back to bite her. 

It was none of her business what he got up to. As long as she stuck to her side of the deal and he stuck to his, she had to accept anything. 

"Right," she said quietly before changing the subject. "So, what do you do for fun?"

"I don't have a lot of free time but when I do, I like going to the movies. The popcorn is better there," Drake replied.

Finally! Something she could work with. Going to the movies was a totally normal thing to do. When was the last time she went, anyway? It might have been before she graduated from college. 

"Right?! I swear they lace the butter with something to make it more addictive. It's so expensive though! And the candy prices are even worse."
