章 360: They Couldn't Control Her Anymore

Fletcher actually kind of had fun seeing everyone's reactions when he crashed the wedding as himself rather than as Dusk. Particularly Starbright's. Or he supposed he should say Sadie's. He barely managed not to laugh. 

She obviously hadn't been expecting this at all and called him out on it as soon as there weren't any witnesses. "What was that?! That wasn't what you agreed on with Starbright!" 

  "The situation was more dire than I had been led to believe. They were always going to sell you off to someone else. Isn't this the better option?" he asked. 

"I don't want to marry you! I don't want to marry anyone! I appreciate your help but—"

"Do you really think they would have let you go any other way?" 

"…no. But what am I supposed to do now?"
