Whitney nodded. "Yeah. I figured since you were in love with me that you would treat me better than Brad did so I decided to give you a chance. Best decision I ever made."

"…he really is despicable. I almost wish Tazonor had done worse to him."

"Why do you hate him so much? I never even told you about him. I wasn't expecting you to react so strongly when he showed up earlier."

Isaac let out a miserable sigh and leaned his head against the back of the couch, looking up at the ceiling. "It's terrible. I'm not sure you want to know."
