章 195: So Why Now?

Tazonor gave Isaac such a hard time about it but he didn't dare act on it. Whitney didn't need to be associated with a freak like him. People gave her a hard enough time already. 

He didn't muster up the courage to talk to her until college when they shared a general ed class but that ended up being a bust because he saw someone pick her up from class and kiss her before he got the chance. Of course someone as beautiful and kind as her would have a boyfriend. His love had always been a lost cause. 

He hadn't cared about that too much though as long as he was able to see her, even from a distance. He knew he wasn't destined for a normal life. 

Having her come to his library every day a few months after graduation was wonderful and he peeked at her whenever he had the chance. She seemed to be doing well and the face she made when concentrating on a book was adorable as ever. That had never changed.
