章 152: She Knew It Was Stupid

Cora never would have imagined herself moving in with Ace but when he brought up the safety concern since her dad would be getting out of prison soon, she couldn't say no. She had been worried about that too and it effectively solved the problem. 

Plenty of men and women lived together as roommates without being involved with each other while they were waiting to meet their soulmates. This wasn't that weird. 

Or so she tried to tell herself. It was definitely weird the first time she saw him stumble sleepily out of his room without a shirt to use the bathroom, not even noticing she was there. She had been too embarrassed to say anything. 

Why did her heart stupidly have to race at that? She had seen him shirtless plenty of times at the pool!

That sort of thing had been happening more and more over the past couple of years though. Cora had always done her best to ignore it because she didn't want to go there.
