It was a month since Lance and I were together, and each second and passing day, I was in absolute bliss.

I resigned from Artem but continued staying in New Haven so I could be with him.

But of course, everything had an end. My happy days was cut short at the unexpected visit of this one person who I did not want to see right at this very moment. 

My mother, Emerald Jansen.

Being a Jansen, I expected the news about Lance and me to reach my parents. I was even surprised that they remained silent for a month.

But I sure did not expect that my mother would barge in my room so early in the morning one day.

Well, that was alright since it always happened in the past –– except now I had a delicious boy next to me in bed, naked while I cuddled in his embrace in full nudity with only the blanket shielding us from the unwanted visitor's view.
