Fear gripped my heart and stomach as we started to fly over Ronchelle. I allowed the speed to fall just a little. If I didn't, it would overshoot our target, and then we wouldn't be of any assistance to the people of this lovely nation.

"There, look." I pointed as I watched through the window. "I see at least three towns on fire."

"They might have gotten out safely." Nolan said as he put an arm around me. "We don't know for sure."

"Should we let a few soldiers out here?" I asked him. "Do we send someone to check on those towns?"
