章 783: Chapter 23- Addie – The Reception Volume 4

***ADDIE'S POV***

The reception must go on, despite how sincerely I wished to skip it, and learn more of what Nolan had in mind for us. And because we had delayed the start of the wedding, thanks to the accident this morning, we were already running late for that event.

Nolan was whisked away by his staff, and I was taken by mine. We were to be changed, and then escorted to the ballroom, where the others were likely already waiting for us. Even though Nolan and I were married now, we still had to show decorum, and not be changed in the presence of each other. At least, not when staff were around to see. 

Thankfully, our different staff had been well prepared for this transition, and it only took mere moments for us to be changed, and moved onto the next segment of the wedding day. Ginger and Violet had me changed and my hair and makeup redone in less than ten minutes. And I was standing next to Nolan in the hall mere seconds after that.
