章 729: Chapter 229- Addie – Learning from Heron Part 1 (VOLUME 3)
**ADDIE'S POV**
Heron's office was strange. For starters, there was no desk. There were only two chairs and a table, where you would likely drink tea or have a meal while visiting with a close friend. Other than that, there was a single bookcase filled with a variety of tools that I had never seen before.
OK, that wasn't true, I had seen one of them. The cuffs from the Zenith were among them, but the rest were new to me. And those things included a whip that looked like it was made of pure shadows, daggers that were as black as night, an ornate mirror whose surface didn't cast a reflection, instead it looked as if it too were black as a void. And several other items that were mysterious, intriguing, and scary at the same time.
