It was a tense start to the conversation. When I entered that classroom with Hollis and Karola, it was like we were about to sit down to some war talks or something. It was almost scary, the way they were looking at me. Why was I the in between here? Why was I the one that had to step in the middle of everything?

Oh, yeah, it's because I wanted to help people as often as I could. I mean, what other reason was there for me to be the middleman, uhm woman, all the time? I might be complaining in my head, but honestly, I didn't really mind. Hollis was a great man and friend, and I had no reason to think that Karola wasn't a wonderful person as well.

"Alright, let's get started here." I smiled and tried to lighten the mood as we all sat facing each other awkwardly. I knew that all the awkwardness was coming from Karola, that was clear, but I wanted to calm us all down if I was able to.
