**ADDIE'S POV**

The night of the execution finished in a bit of a blur for me. I remember watching the four members of my family being killed, and I remember that I had made it through with no issues at all. I know that following the executions, the feast and party were over. Everyone went back to where they belonged, or where they were staying for the night. But other than that, I don't really remember what it was that happened.

I think that my exhaustion had caught up to me. When I woke in the morning, laying in the bed in my traveling house, I didn't remember how I had gotten there. I was a little disoriented as I looked around me and saw that I had been changed into my nightgown and that I had obviously been bathed. Had I been awake for that? Or was it done while I had been unconscious? I wasn't exactly sure at the moment.

"Good morning, Princess Addie." I heard a familiar voice and turned to see Violet walking into the room.
