**ADDIE'S POV**

I shivered and squirmed under the intense, scrutinizing gazes of Nolan and Callum. They were a couple of scary men when they wanted to be. I didn't know how to respond to them right now and that was making it harder for me. Instead of saying anything at all, I ended up just picking up my teacup and sipping some more of my tea. There wasn't that much of it left though, and after three sips it was all gone. Ugh! What was I going to do now? There were no other distractions left. Not even a cookie crumb was left on the tray.

"Addie?" Nolan leaned forward over the table as he smiled at me. "Are you nervous about something?"
