**ADDIE'S POV**

Nolan was nice enough to take me to get a drink. I was getting parched from all the dancing. Not to mention, I was tired of everyone staring at me and Nolan. I didn't know why they thought that we were so interesting. I mean, we were just dancing. What was so special about that?

Also, all those men that were staring at me, they were making my skin crawl. I didn't like the way that it felt when they looked at me like that. It was not pleasant at all. It made me feel dirty and gross for some reason.

Nolan was guiding me toward the drinks, his hand still in mine. It never felt gross when Nolan was touching me or looking at me. That was good. I didn't want to be uncomfortable around him.

"I do not want you left alone, Addie. So, please, come with me to the refreshments stand." He leaned in close to my ear again so that he could whisper. I knew that it was just because things were so loud, but I liked it.
