章 203: Something Strange Part 1

**NOLAN'S POV**

"ADDIE! LET GO! TAKE YOUR HAND AWAY RIGHT NOW!" I was yelling at Addie. I needed to yell. She wasn't letting go of that stone and I knew that it was draining all of her mana out of her. She was forming her mana into that spell and it was literally sucking it out of her like it was a sponge or something.

"Nolan?!" I saw that Addie jumped when I called her. She was surprised, and possibly even scared of me at that moment. That was fine. I would take her being scared for a moment. If I was able to save her life because of her being afraid of me for the time being, then so be it. I didn't want her to die.

I saw that Addie was trying to focus on me. Her eyes looked like they were swimming with tears, but she wasn't acting like she was going to cry. This wasn't from fear. This was something else.
