**NOLAN'S POV**
I can't believe that I was standing here. And wearing this ridiculous formal attire as well. I didn't care that it was standard. I didn't care that I got compliments from all the ladies that had passed me so far. It wasn't my way of doing things. And I hated to be the center of attention like this.
"Dammit!" I snapped under my breath. "Where the hell is Callum? If he were here, the people would be paying attention to him instead of me." That lazy good for nothing cousin of mine was probably trying to skip this ball that he had demanded that I attend. He had probably only told me to be here so that I could represent him just so that he could go traipsing off somewhere else. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if that were precisely what had happened. I mean, why else was Juliana staying so close to me.
