章 152: What's Going On

**NOLAN'S POV**

Without really paying attention to what I was doing, I grabbed the girl's left hand. The one that she wasn't pointing at me with. I needed to see her wrist. I needed to check for the mark. I had to know if I was right or not. And if the things that Callum had told me were true or not.

"What are you doing?" She screamed out when I grabbed her, but I didn't let go. I held onto her wrist and pushed the sleeve of my shirt, that she was wearing, up her arm. I didn't need to move it far though, because sure enough it was right there. In the same spot as the other mark, only on a different arm, there was the mark. This one was pure black, and it was indeed in the shape of the darkness rune.

"This one says darkness. That one says light." I informed her. "These are runes."

"Yeah, I know." She definitely sounded grumpy now as she yanked her hand away from me and scooted a little further away from me.
