章 569: Attracting attention

The two fell into silence for a long time with the only sound coming from the stereo. Qie Xieling felt his phone vibrating in his pocket. 

This time Luo Muchen didn't call but messaged him. Qie Xieling pursed his lips his thumb hovering above the message notification on the phone screen. He nervously tapped the message after a moment of hesitation. Luo Muchen had written five consecutive messages. The first one was from the time he hadn't picked up. 

Muchen: You are probably still sleeping. Call me when you are awake.

Qie Xieling glanced at his father sitting next to him and couldn't bring himself to call him right now. He could only lean against the car door while typing back. 

HandsomeLin: I can't talk right now. 

HandsomeLin: I am with my father. 

Qie Xieling scrolled down and he was about to read the other messages when his phone vibrated again. Luo Muchen had responded so fast like he had been waiting on his phone for him.
