章 542: Final fight

Master Zi saw that Qie Xieling was actually keeping up with him which wasn't what he expected considering that he was injured. He thought he would be slower but this ger was still as fast as before. He decided that he needed to get that sword out of his hands.

He reached into his belt and produced a chain sickle with a long chain. He threw it at Qie Xieling's sword. Qie Xieling saw the chain sickle coming and tried to dodge it, but it was too late. The chain coiled around his sword, and Master Zi pulled with all his might.

Qie Xieling stood his ground. He anchored his feet onto the floor and lowered his centre of gravity refusing to let go of his sword. He felt a surge of pain in his injured arm, but he ignored it. He pulled back, trying to free his sword from the chain. Master Zi took advantage of the situation and lunged forward with the sabre, aiming for Qie Xieling's chest.
