Crazy weekend

Oscar decided to spend the weekend at the settlement, and I was home alone. My parents had travelled, so I had nowhere to go. The moment Oscar left, I regretted not following him. I knew he wanted me to come along but didn't want to ask me to go with him because of the fight we had about him choking me.

There was nothing to do. I tried to knit a scarf but couldn't get past the first ten rows. I decided I was going to have fun. So I called Robert, James and Ashly to join me for the evening. Robert was elated by my invite, and he was the first to arrive. He arrived with wine and meatloaf. He claimed to have baked it himself, but I wasn't going to probe him.

"Karen, this is awesome, an entire weekend to yourself. Hope you didn't have to fight Alpha Wilde for this opportunity because I know he can be very clingy when it comes to you?" he asked, and I smiled.

"It wasn't even up for discussion," I told him, and he laughed.
