章 156: CLVI: her plan

"We do not have time for that your majesty. Your children will be used as bait to make you lose the war tomorrow and you will be a dead man if we do not focus on how to prevent that from happening," she told him seriously. 

He froze and his brow furrowed. It took him a few minutes to snap out of the shock her news gave him. He approached her and hugged her so tightly that she feared that he was going to hug the life out of her.

That hug was tight and it seemed to squeeze out all the pent-up pain and hurt she has been feeling for a while.

She has forced herself to be strong through it all that she did not have any time to cry over the fact that her babies has been taken away from her and there was nothing she could do at that moment.

She could not hold back the tears anymore. Probably only mothers will be able to understand how much pain they had to go through by choosing their husband and his people over their children.
