On the roof of the airport, two women were hiding out of sight. One of them had blonde hair and wore a traditional mikoto outfit with white and red being the dominant colors. She was holding what appeared to be a staff wrapped in black cloth.
The other was a black haired woman wearing a black outfit covering everything but her eyes and hair that was tied as a ponytail. One would say she looked exactly like a ninja. On her waist were weapons and bags filled with senbons and daggers.
The former was named Mizuno Mimoko while the latter was called Isa Hikari.
Both were on their phone with their eyes glued to it. On it was a picture of a young slim girl with long dark hair which is braided in the back and extends past her shoulders. On her head was a light hairband on the top of her head and she wore her school uniform.
A description was written next to the picture.

"A bounty on the 'Star Platinum' vessel huh. This is gonna be a good job." Mimoko said while licking her lips.
"Around 30 million ¥ huh. Not bad at all." Isa smirked.
Hikari put her phone back and stood up. "Then we can both agree to kill her, right? Splitting up the reward." Looking below, she could see the people of the airport oblivious to her presence.
"Of course, but I want to be the one to kill her."
"Go ahead. I won't stop you but be sure to have the body intact. Or else that money is gone."
"Heh, no need to tell me, I know." Mimoko unwrapped the cloth on her weapon revealing to be a wooden staff with golden and red engravings on it. A weapon crafted with care could be seen.
"We've done this more than once after all."

"Arai! This ramen is soo good! It's even better than in the countryside."
"I don't know about that, it certainly is up for debate. What do you think Nanami?"
"I want to eat casse-croute. Too much salt for me."
The three were sitting at a restaurant in the airport eating ramen for dinner. They were tasked by Principal Yaga to protect the airport as other sorcerers may attack it to block off the 'Star Platinum' vessel escape.
They were also tasked to kill or incapacitate all sorcerers with hostile intentions and lighten Gojo's and Geto's burden.
"I seriously don't understand why they even dispatched us. Gojo and Geto are more than enough to take care of every problem." Arai grumbled after finishing his ramen. "They are the strongest, even if it's three or four days of non-stop using their techniques. They'd still be able to fight. I can't imagine something dangerous to them. I'm pretty sure we'd be the ones in danger, not them."
Nanami nodded in agreement. "Agreed, this is hardly an assignment. Principal Yaga must have wanted us to experience more combat against sorcerers and not just curse spirits. With so many assassins tempted by the prize, it's no wonder that this place will become a battleground."
"So Yaga really does care about us, he's so stoic that I almost thought he wouldn't care about us." Slamming the empty bowl of ramen down, he licked his lips and ordered a new one. "Another one please!"
"Isn't this your fourth one already?" Arai asked with his eyebrow raised.
"Isn't four bowls too little?" He asked confused.
"It is?"
"It isn't?"
"Haibara... you really know how to annoy someone, don't you?"
"Eh, I'm not doing this on purpose."
"Don't mind him Haibara, he's just quick to anger."
Their conversation was interrupted as Arai felt something. He abruptly stood up surprising the two.
"Isao?" Nanami narrowed down his eyes. "Yeah, someone's here. Get ready." He nodded and left money on the counter before leaving the restaurant with the rest. Even Haibara got serious showing no signs of his usual self.
"Location?" Nanami asked.
"Rooftop. 150m from our west." Arai told them what he knew and brought out twin daggers from his back. "Follow my lead." Without waiting, he ran up ahead to the staircases bringing them to the rooftop.
Soon enough, they were hearing voices from the roof. Arai looked behind him and nodded his head to both Haibara and Nanami.
"Hah! What was that?"
"Seems to be a locator of sorts, it was acting as a detector I think. That-"
Suddenly the door that lead to the roof flew off towards them. The two assassins were shocked but maintained their composure. Mimoko immediately grabbed hold of her weapon and knocked the iron door out the way.
While they caught them off guard, Arai was analyzing them. 'Curse users. Two of them, seems to me that the one in ninja garment is the weakest and has the least amount of curse energy. Since she is also wearing ninja garments that would mean that her technique and skill is most likely focused on assassination. A confrontation is disadvantageous for someone with her capabilities.'
Immediately Arai ran up to her and threw both of his daggers at her, she, as a trained assassin, brought out her own daggers and redirected the projectiles. But as she felt the impact, she realized something and her eyes became wide open.
'This guy! He's the one who-'
Seeing her come to realization, he smirked before muttering.
"Gift."
Before she could finish her thoughts, she was blown away and crashed to the other side of the roof.
"Hikari!" Mimoko who saw her friend in danger was about to jump in to saver her but two figures appeared before her. It was Haibara and Nanami.
Haibara brought out clay from his pockets while analyzing his opponent. "Hm... a semi-grade 1? Seems about right."
"That's right. And if you kids know what's good for you then get out of my way."
Haibara chuckled when hearing this. "It's not like you're the only semi-grade 1 here. The badass over there is pretty good in his own right." He said while pointing to Nanami.
Mimoko narrowed her eyes down on Nanami. 'He's right, this blonde kid has even more curse energy than I do. And that black haired one isn't far behind as well. This is gonna be a challenge.'
She took on her battle posture and prepared her curse energy. "Look closely kids, I'll teach you today that talent isn't everything there is to a sorcerer."
Bringing out his own weapon, Nanami put on glasses of his own. "Seems like most sorcerers tend to overestimate themselves these days." He pushed up his glasses making his eye now visible. "It's time to put them all to their place and bring them down to reality."
While Nanami and Haibara got to meet their opponent, Arai landed on the roof and looked in front of him. The roof was damaged and it looked like something was dragged along until it hit another cabin that held the entrance to the roof.
"Tch, she isn't here. A ninja is sneaky alright."
Looking around, he saw no signs as to where she was. There was no sign of curse energy or technique used by her which meant that it wasn't a technique that was used or it was a technique that was able to hide her own curse energy.
But if that was the case then he wouldn't have been able to see her curse energy. Which meant that she was just naturally capable of hiding her presence.
Suddenly, Arai ducked down in a hurry while hearing something fly right by him. Looking up, he saw senbons stuck right through metal.
"It was you wasn't it. The one who used those shikigamis as recon to gather information and surveillance." Steps were being taken behind him, looking back he saw the ninja appearing behind the wall.
"Cats out of the bag, I guess." Arai got back up while cracking his neck.
"I guess youngsters these days really are getting better and better. Though that isn't going to be enough." She brought out her daggers and so did Arai. Both were at a face-off as none made any sudden moves.
"Come out." Arai said calmly, Hikari was ready this time as inside Arai's clothes came out a serpent like shikigami with a human head. It had no hair and it's eyes were open wide with green eyes.
'A shikigami, from what I can tell it is a semi-grade 2. He most likely doesn't hold a storage shikigami since they're rare and he held it outside. But a semi-grade 2 isn't a threat to me.' She thought quickly jumping into the battle and throwing senbons.
Arai quickly reacted by dodging or blocking the senbons. With help from his shikigami, no projectile had actually hit him despite Hikari throwing more than dozens at him. All senbons were simply laying on the ground.
'This guy has amazing reflexes. He's trained to a high level but that's not all. He's smart enough to use a shikigami that is flexible and able to block the attack. It's weak but just strong enough to block them and it doesn't hinder his own movements. He's also able to sense curse energy at a really good level. Even if he could see all the senbons which I doubt, he was able to choose the perfect way to counter them. He's good. No he's more than good.'
Knowing this, she put back the remaining senbons left and pulled out her daggers. 'It's time to unleash my curse technique. I won't underestimate him.'

{I'll say this now, I have plans for some characters before the main story begins.
And also that the main plot won't start anywhere soon, don't expect to see Yuji here.
But some characters I have plans for, I don't want to say who now cuz I don't like spoilers.
But rest assured that some beloved characters will be seen.}
