A long shriek echoed in the cold room that Reynold had to create another barrier to make sure that her voice did not go out. 

The girl had lost all her senses as she continued to look at the cell with tears falling from her eyes continuously.

Renold tried a few times to open the door but his magic was not working on these bars.

"They are magic resistant." he concluded as he took a sigh when Alex tilted his head and continued to stare at the prisoners in the cell and then at the bars.

They all were looking too weak as if they were never given food since they were kept in. their bones could be seen and so as their sunken faces.

"How long can witches survive without food?" he asked as he walked closer to the nearest cell and tested the bars.

They were strong and sparkled when magic was used on them.

"I do not know. Months? Or maybe years! Faes did not need to eat to survive. We only eat because human food is tasty.
