Hazel did not feel an ounce of pity for the man who had killed her once. She still remembered his cold eyes. How he had not even turned to look at her once when the man had held her.

He even went to the length of telling them they could do anything with her. What other disgrace could he have given her!

"Hazel! I apologize, Amelia was the one who seduced me. I have always loved and been trying to woo you again since I lost you. Please forgive me, I do not want to die. I beg you, I beg you Hazel." with more tears in his eyes, his wails were resonating in the whole valley.

After losing his limbs, he dragged his body towards her through his abdomen and begged her to forgive him when she laughed. 

The cold and eerie laughter would have given a creepy feeling to everyone but Jonathan was at his wits end, he had already lost his limbs but the wolves stopped when she came forward.
