"Maximus…." she mumbled as she choked with tears she buried her face in the crook of his neck. She sobbed silently at his ignorance. She didn't like him being like this. She can endure anything but not his ignorance.

  Lenora doesn't know when and how she grew this much attached to Maximus. Now, she knew one thing. That was… without Maximus it would be hard for her to move on. This blow was stronger than the blow that she got two years ago. 

After that fateful day, Lenora vowed she wouldn't let anyone inside her heart. But now… she let Maximus in. He owned her heart, body, and soul. It was too much in a short time. Yet, she fell for him for real and willingly. 

She allowed herself to be vulnerable in front of him. Lenora allowed herself to stoop to this level just for him. She didn't care about the rumors or gossip that would go flying in the palace. All she cared about was Maximus and him alone.
