章 13: Yun Qi's Interest
After the ride, Yun Qi bought popsicles for the kids. Though Lu Jin, Lu Xi and Lu Li were reluctant, they accepted it. They didn't want to seems rude in front of Xue Luli.
It wasn't long before the four children got along. Since Little Li and Yun Xinxin got along perfectly, Lu Jin and Lu Xi had no problem with her.
Later that afternoon, Yun Qi offered to drop them off but Xue Luli firmly rejected.
"At least give me your number. The children seem to be getting along well, why don't we organize a play date for the children?" Qi Yun suggested.
Xue Luli reluctance was clearly visible.
"Please auntie" Qi Xinxin begged.
"It's not that I don't want to but the children might return to the capital very soon" Xue Luli explained.
" How about the day before they leave?. We can still see each other then right? " Yun Qi suggested again.
Xue Luli agreed. She really wanted the children to see each other again plus Yun Xinxin was the first friend the children had.
" Ok" Xue Luli agreed and gave him her number. After that, they bid each other goodbye and left.
The butler who had been watching Yun Qi and Xue Luli's interaction smiled.
Ever since they met, Yun Qi's eyes had never left Xue Luli, not even for a second.
The old butler thought his young Master played his game very well. He used the excuse of setting a play date for the kids just to get Xue Luli's number. If he had asked Xue Luli directly, she would definitely not give it to him.
It seemed this young madam has taken interest in this beautiful lass. This was a good thing because it has been long since Yun Qi flirted with a woman after the death of his wife. He never looked in the direction of any woman. No matter how hard the Yun family tried to interfere in his love life, they were all unsuccessful.
"Young Master... don't you think that this is wrong?" the butler asked as they were driving home.
"What is?" Yun Qi asked
" Isn't she married already plus she already has three children" The butler answered.
"Married? , Did you see a ring on her finger?. By the way I don't think those are her kids. They referred to her as auntie earlier, so there's nothing wrong with what I'm doing" Yun Qi answered as a his eyes glowed.
After he said that, he turned to look at his daughter who was sleeping peacefully. She seemed to like Xue Luli very much and the four children got along perfectly. It wouldn't be a bad idea if they became siblings. He smiled as he thought about this idea but a slight frown appeared on his face when he realized that they would be going to the capital very soon.
When Xue Luli and the kids got home, they were extremely tired. They all took a shower and went straight to bed.
