For the two minutes that Celeste had stared at him, Divo felt as though his heart had gotten stuck in his chest. Like a tight constricting pain that made it hard for him to breathe. Like a rope had been wrapped around his chest and was getting tighter the longer that they stared at each other. 

The alpha couldn't bring himself to look away from the other though. She was so enchanting that he couldn't get enough of her. With how close it was to the full moon, the pull to be

near her was stronger than ever.

Once the other went back inside, the spell was broken and his breath came out large puffs of cold steam as he was able to breathe normally again. Oh what she did to him without even knowing or understanding

Divo couldn't help but wonder if even though she was only a human she felt the same pull that he did. Could humans experience that kind of feeling if their mates were werewolves?
