章 27: Chapter 026: Father & Son
Today is the 31st day of Chronos the last day of the month and its been 28 days since Prince Dyren reach the Acun Army and Cap. Myera and the Grand Fleet go sail once again to the sea for another delivery, for Sir. Mylon and the Bronze Crusaders maintain to enforce justice to the Acun Empire together with the Trideca-County and for Archsage Fistes with the 6 Priests of New Acun are all busy building up influences of the New Immortal Hierarchy to both Easterian Elves & Acun Humans.
For a while my hands are quite lighter with these piles of works so I have a lot of time for my training with Archsage Fistes the Easteria Elven Method helps me a lot for the last months thanks for that I only cough blood once a day now even if I use all 3 of my Nova Orbs together also sitting here at my office drinking tea signing papers and still have lot of time before I took my lessons at the evening with the Royal Tutors, beside the war against Delvean Empire on the west and against Jin de Dragon Empire on the east I should prepare the Acun Empire for the next Eclorth Invasion we still have over 6 months or 186 days and how can we fought those Eclorthians with less casualties than before for a reason what if the enemies use these opportunity to conquer after we experience a massive destruction with the next invasion.
Someone is knocking at the doors maybe it was a noble leader to report something specific.
" You may enter and state your business immediately." I said and the doors opened I saw a smile on a man face having red eyes and dark hair a face that I will never forgot.
" You're talking well now my son, I receive Prince Dyren request and Immediately came here also those barriers are truly magnificent but why did you not welcome even though you know I'm here at the Acun Empire for over a week now?" My father Sir. Lucian Herean asked I know that he was here but didn't welcome him for certain reasons I rose from my seat and hug him tightly I miss my father.
" I'm sorry father I didn't welcome you being the ' Empress ' are much harder than I thought and I miss you very much father together with mother, for my request did you prepare the House Herean when you arrived a week ago?" I said hugging him tightly and looking to his eyes he kiss my forehead and patted my head.
" I know that its difficult to be the Empress my son so I understand I miss you more than how you miss me together with your mother and stop hugging me tightly maybe you arms will broke hugging my sturdier body, for the preparation I did a week ago I gathered 10,000 Hereans to come with me lot of our family members are on your mother lead on the east also I heard rumors about House Herean & House Skyetiello possible foundation of a new empire." Of course my father would hear those rumors I release him from my hug and offer a seat near at the balcony he sat there and I place a small table & another chair.
" Father I'm strong too not just powerful so don't worry about my arms breaking due to just hugging my father that I loved so much tighter than anything, I believe you already know I called the Dukedom of Skyetiello they heed my call and they give me Prince Dyren as my sword for a sign of allegiance." I said and sat together with my father I offer him a coffee that was brought immediately by a maid.
" I heard about Prince Dyren achievements and also the fact he is comparable to the Novuns my son I know you're doing these for our family but you don't need to take it care by yourself, even if Emperor Armaros Novun didn't love you or disgust at these roles he still continue until the end for the sake of the Acun Empire we need to trust House Novun my son cause they trusted House Herean too." He said taking a sip on his coffee and being relaxed sitting and glancing the view at the balcony.
"I trusted House Novun fully father and I'm just doing these for an emergency too if Acun Empire receive a sudden defeat against the West or the East, I know Emperor Armaros Novun disgust with these roles but I agree with these roles too so I trust him not as my partner but as my childhood friend before." I know he would not love me but I'm doing these for the sake of my family, my people, and for our friendship that we built before that he forgotten I believe.
" My Amaris I know you're being honest all the time you talk with me or with your mother so I know what you mean, but can I ask you why you chose Armaros than pursuing Princess Esma Lunarean?" He asked I look at my father eyes and it was a genuine gaze.
" Father Princess Esma Lunarean is the first girl I fell in love with and I treat her as my best friend now not us my crush before, she's a royalty too from Easoon Empire and House Herean didn't allow marriage with rulers for the sake of the people." I answered look at the view outside.
" I chose Emperor Armaros cause he may be the first boy I fell in love with but I became his friend for years while isolating my romantic feeling for him I chose having my heart for Esma only on that time yet after years my feeling for him grow more and more, for the time we spent being friends we had a bond that I want to maintain and its being 'Friends' only but I can't control my heart so I kept it hidden until we became Crowned Prince & Princess my feeling for him hides deeper and deeper." I added and tears stream to my left eye my father wipe it for me and smile.
" I know you use magic to hide your expression when Armaros forsake you because of his parents and us your parents discuss our plans for both of you, Lady Amare cried when she notice you she's a powerful mage too so you can't hide your face streaming with tears on her sight you accept the proposal with a calm & a serious face while being hold my a magical spell hiding your true face crying so much." The day I know Lady Amare was been fond of me so much resulting for her to pity me being forsaken by my friend.
" Father I agree with the proposal for the sake of the future and Armaros agree even when he found out that I have feelings for him cause when I accept it I declare that I will kept my self and he will kept himself, we didn't need to love each other just play a role of perfect loving Emperor & Empress he agree and left after that." That day brought terror to myself I know he's homophobic but what about our friendship that we had even before everything start.
" My son your sacrifice for the empire can't be compare to anything in the end you would meet someone who will love you so much may it be a girl or a boy the love you will receive and the other will receive are much better than the word ' perfect ' it self, so just for the time being endure it my son I, Your Mother, The entire House Herean, and the people you chose will always be with you."
" Thank you father and are you going today to meet with Duke Shiera Skyetiello?" I asked cause the preparations are already done maybe he was here to meet me before he go far again.
" Yes Amaris I'm going now to the Dukedom I would gone again for moths and after my stay out there I will return Immediately at Emperor Armaros side he was the son of my brother Cadian Novun, I need to protect and aid my brother child also don't worry about the next Eclorth Invasion we would return at the Acun Empire before it start." He replied and stroke my hair it now messy I need to repeat it again.
" Of course Uncle Cadian would be mad if you left Armaros there alone and please send my regards to Duke & Duchess Skyetiello." I said and before leaving me in this room he hug me enough to make me feel the heat of his body.
" Be careful my son and took your duty lightly I want my son to enjoy his life smoothly please wait for me and your mother again together. I nod my head and left the Novun Palace.
Thanks to the barriers I observe my father & my family leaving the Acun Empire riding on their own magical beasts and machines flying to the sky I wish them luck, please come back home together with mother so we can be a family together with everyone I will wait.
