Davil leaned down to comfort Nathaniel. He wrapped a warm embrace around the demon holding back his own tears.

He hadn't seen Xander/ Zaellavar in centuries. One would think that the male dying would hurt less. However it was the opposite. Seeing the male again brought back all the good times that they shared together in the past. And watching him whither away left him feeling defeated.

Zaellavar was born in a tragic fate. Where when he cried no one ever felt his tears. When he was worried, no one saw pain and the times he got happy, no one noticed his smile.

When he found someone who did, he had no way of knowing how to let them in and ended up pushing them away.
