Noam tossed and turned in bed.

It was like every other night for the alpha king. The past month had been the most difficult time of his life. Constantly fighting to find some peace of mind in the empty spaces of his life.

Haunted by the events of that fateful night. A night that snatched everything good in his life. And took his happiness away from him.

Nightmares tormented his day and his twilight. Preventing him from a moment of sanity. His brows furrowed as frame by frame the past played in his head.

His hands clutched the bedsheets tightly, he pressed his eyes closed harder. Gritting his teeth together. Resisting the urge to scream. His claws ripped through the sheets with no mercy.

He was caught up in his dream, to notice the dark silhouette entering the room through the window. They moved with the wind, their outfit floating around until they reached the bed.
