The King raced to the prison and had Marcus let out of jail with the charges being dropped. Their was no need to take the man to trial since he was already free.
"I didn't hurt Reina," Marcus defended.
The King pulled Marcus into a tight hug, he was relieved that Marcus free. It saved him a lot of stress. "I know," he assured Marcus to ease his panic.
He had taken the queen's words and used it to her advantage. The queen herself had announced that Marcus was innocent, going back on her didnt mean that she had not said the words.
The power of words saved Marcus's life. Once she uttered those words out loud, she had given the male his freedom back.
"Let's get you to your room," the king said. It was in moments like this that he felt really great about being king. He got Marcus free that too right before he had to face the wrath of the royal family.
The King took Marcus by the hand and walked with him towards the queen's palace.
