章 22: Pregnant

The physician was called to attend to the Queen. She walked into the room while everyone gave her space and waited outside.

The queen mother and the princess paced around the corridor outside her room worried sick. The maids that went to fetch the king returned with a panicked king and Marcus.

Both of them stood outside the door a little distance away from the Queen mother. After the fight, the king sort it best to keep Marcus away from his mother and sister. They were just as bad as Reina when angered and he had pulled their strings a little too hard.

Their day was ruined and his sister would have to wait a few more months before she can marry. That wasn't something the princess would forget easily. Especially since he didn't side with her and took Marcus's side.

"Don't you feel ashamed coming here. You are the reason that she is in this condition," Adria fired at Marcus.

"He is not," the king defended before Marcus could speak.
