Hello, before starting with the chapter I want to make a small announcement, I just want to say that this will be the only fanfic that I will do and that I will complete. Since the truth is that I expected to start writing my own novels, but the truth was I decided to start with a fanfic so that the readers would know me a little. Regarding this fanfic it will not be very long, do not wait more than 150 to 200 chapters for it to finish. Also when we reach 400 stones of power I will do another massive release of chapters, currently I do not have written the amount that I consider sufficient.
They should also know that we are already reaching the beginning of the important events, so the filler chapters will be reduced to a minimum so as not to unnecessarily lengthen the fanfic.
Well that's it. I hope so and enjoy. And for those of you who don't like it I apologize in advance, as I'm only human, and I can't be able to please everyone. (Although the truth is that I don't like being a completely complacent person either, since I feel that what I write stops being mine when I do it, and I feel that it is written by other people). Don't get me wrong, I like constructive criticism as it helps me improve, but I don't like being told what to do ...
With everything cleared up, enjoy!

Benjamin was Alex's guide for a few minutes, but as Alex followed him he realized something very strange. The Baxter Building was completely empty.
But it was not due to the fact that it was almost midnight, but rather that there were many empty offices and rooms, without any belongings in them. Which would be very rare is a scientific research building where the main figures have their own space to freely advance their research.
After all, the Baxter building is one that specializes in scientific research...
"Why does everything seem so empty?" Alex asked Benjamin as they walked, since he himself would not be left with this doubt.
When Benjamin heard this question he couldn't help but let out a tired sigh.
"I see you noticed ... I'm not sure I'm the best one to talk about this issue" Just at this moment Benjamin and Alex, who had gotten into an elevator, reached the top floor of the Baxter tower. Benjamin just looked at Alex for a moment and said: "This may clarify Sue, after all she and her brother own the place." Benjamin kept walking forward when the elevator doors opened. The place he saw was the common residence of the Fantastic 4 in the Baxter building.
Alex kept walking behind Benjamin, but his attention was drawn to a beautiful girl who was sitting at the kitchen table. She this was none other than Susan Storm, the invisible woman. Only now she was not dressed in her hero costume, she was now wearing ordinary clothes.
When she was there, she saw Alex; there was momentary astonishment on her face.
"I didn't expect this ..." Sue said herself as she looked Alex from head to toe.
"What would a pizza delivery man be?" Alex asked as he raised a curious eyebrow.
"That you looked so good without a pizza bag on your head ..." Sue she giggled when she said this.
"Thank you, in the same way you look much better without a face full of blood" Alex said simply as he shrugged.
Sue just gave a little laugh; she stood up and walked over to Alex until they were face to face.
Alex thought she wanted to shake her hand, but when he was about to lift her hand, she suddenly felt him being hugged.
That's right; Alex was being hugged by Susan Storm, one of Marvel's sexiest heroines. This was different from what Alex expected, but he would not refuse a hug from Susan Storm.
"If it hadn't been for you, we wouldn't be here anymore, thank you very much," Susan said while she still had Alex hugged, but it's not like he's going to complain.
"If she had helped from the beginning, Mr. Fantastic would not have died ..." Alex kept a serious face at this moment, since what happened is something that still bothers him. Because he was so confident in his knowledge of his previous life and his lack of experience of how he should react, one of Marvel's first heroes died.
Alex felt Sue's hug from her tighten a bit, and from the sounds coming from her it seemed like he was trying not to break down in tears right then and there. But when Alex thought he was about to break down, to her surprise she recovered and stabilized his emotions again.
Sue broke away from the hug and said: "Don't blame yourself for that, that day no one was prepared for what happened." Sue's voice was melancholic, a sign that she was remembering what happened that day.
"Sue is right Alex, no one expected Doom to use such a dirty trick against Reed" Benjamin said sharing the same melancholic tone of Sue.
"Victor already had everything premeditated on how he should kill Reed, but using a metal needle through Reed's eye to fry his brain ... that was very cold" Sue said but while remembering Victor Von Doom her expression showed a great repressed anger.
"Reed's power made him practically immune to lightning, but apparently not his entire body was lightning-proof." Benjamin also showed signs of anger, all directed towards a single person, but in the end it was anger that was being directed at a single person. Dead.
Alex already knew all this, because when he was about to leave he took a look at Reed's corpse, and a long metal needle was sticking out of the eye socket, on the side of the face that had been burned to char by Doom's electricity.
But there was still a doubt in Alex's heart, so he decided not to drag things out any longer and asked: "How do you know it was me that day?" If the residents of the Baxter building were able to track him down, it didn't explain why Fury didn't have the pirate behind him yet, trying to bind him to Hydra, but everyone thinks he's Shield, or trying to bind him to the avengers.
Sue and Benjamin looked at Alex, they both looked a bit uncomfortable but in the end it was Sue who spoke.
"Well, at first we had no idea who you were, but when I remembered how you were dressed, it was just a matter of asking Johnny where he had ordered pizza the last time" Sue explained as a small blush appeared on her face, due to what He was going to say next: "Once we found out about the place it was just a matter of investigating the workers, and you are the only one who fit the Kryptonian physique." All of this made it look like they were some kind of stalkers.
"No security camera footage?" Alex asked surprised, since he thought they would find him through the street cameras.
"It was the first thing we checked, but apparently they all got fried when Doom used his power, so you don't have to worry" Sue replied with a reassuring smile which calmed Alex down quite a bit. But that also explained why Fury hadn't shown up.
Before Alex could continue speaking, a door opened and another person came into the room.
"Is the one with the pizza here?" Johnny Storm asked as he yawned, but he was surprised when he saw someone he didn't know in the room, but when he focused his gaze on Alex, his face was filled with astonishment.
Johnny walked quickly over to Alex and shook his hand as he smiled at him.
"I suppose you are Alex, or better known as Krypton, that day you helped us a lot old, not only that but you also saved my sister's butt, I owe you a big one for that" Johnny said with his classic cool boy attitude.
Alex couldn't stop a smile from appearing on his face as well, as Johnny could be quite nice if he wanted to, but he also knew that Johnny had a side where he loved being admired by the public and having many fans.
"You fly too? What do you think if we have a little race to find out who is faster" Johnny brought out the competitive side of him, which required him to be the best.
"Now is not the time, Johnny." Sue elbowed Johnny in the stomach, knocking out his breath.
"You didn't have to hit me that hard." Johnny flinched a bit as he rubbed where Sue had hit him.
Alex saw this scene with a raised eyebrow, he was not sure why Johnny thought he could fly too, of course this was not a lie, but at this moment Alex had one more question in mind, so he spoke cutting the scene between the brothers.
"I couldn't help but notice since I entered, this whole place is quite abandoned, what is the reason for this?" When Alex asked Sue and Johnny this question it was as if you had dropped a bucket of cold water on them.
End here.
In this chapter I finally explain Reed's cause of death, but the reason why Reed is dead will be revealed in the next chapter.
Bye.
