章 7: THEY WERE ACTING DIFFERENTLY.
Chapter 7.
Min Ai gave me a locket that looks like a Little bottle containing red colored liquid. She told me to wear it even when I’m bathing. I liked that locket so I accepted her condition.
The next day, Min Ai and I went to work. I went to see Ju long but he is not here yet. so I went to see the manager to seek permission to visit Blue dragon temple for my assignment. He permitted me.
I went to call Min Ai but she seems so busy. So I went to the Blue dragon temple on my own. While traveling to a temple. I had a very weird feeling like someone pulling out my heart. Sad memories started to wave in my mind.
Really, I don't know why I feel like this. “My childhood is not happy. I stayed in my uncle's home because of my parent's job”. My uncle always used to torture me and beaten me without any reason. My childhood was a nightmare. I begged my parents to take me from my uncle's house!!
While I was thinking about my worst childhood, “ a drop of tear slipped from my eyes”. I wiped my tears before anyone could see me. I reached the Blue dragon temple. At first, I went to know the procedure to worship the Blue dragon.
An unknown man explained to me about worshiping the blue dragon. After I finished my worship. I went to search for a saint. But again I bumped into that unknown man. Again he helped me and even told me about that temple's history. I noted all the things he said. While I'm taking notes. Ju long ran towards me and pulled my wrist fastly.
Didn't I say to stay away from her? He punched that unknown man. “What the heck Ju long? even, he doesn't know me”. Why are you acting like this. I shouted at him. Before Ju long could say anything that unknown man started to talk. Hey, “no problem, maybe he felt insecure or he mistook me for somebody else”.
Don't be angry with him.that unknown man said, But Ju long didn't say any words. He just stands like a statue. “I hope you get all the information that you want to know. Bye, take care”. That unknown man said and left here without even saying his name.
What a humble man…….. Ju long, “I'm all yours you don't have felt insecure and you should control your temper see you have beaten an innocent man. Even though you didn't apologize to him”. I said.
Ju long didn't say anything but he grabbed me by the car. In the whole journey, he didn't say one word. After we reached the office, Ju long called the manager and fired him. I asked him why. What is the reason? Because he permitted you without my permission. But you are the one who told me to continue this project. I said in disbelief.
Yes, “I told you to continue this project that doesn't mean you can leave without my permission Bharathi” This is the first time I saw anger in Ju Long’s eyes. So, I didn't continue to argue. I went to my cabin.
I can say Min Ai furiously waiting for me. Bharathi don't you have sense? How dare you? Why did you leave without my permission? But Min Ai, “I just went to collect information for a project, I didn't run away with anyone or cheated on your brother”. So, can you guys stop acting like this?
After having a small reflection with Min Ai and Ju Long, I went to the restroom because I don't like to cry in front of anyone.
I saw myself in the mirror and questioned myself “why God is so unfair to me and why I have to endure all this in my life”? Many thoughts were running in my mind. That time my phone started to ring. At first, I ignored the call but my mobile kept ringing. So, “I saw who called me Ju long”. I attended the call.
Hello, I said, on the other hand, “Ju long asked me where are you”?
In the restroom. I didn't say more than that.
What are you doing there at work time? Don't know how to be sincere at work? Again he yelled at me.
I didn't reply to him. I just said, I will be there in 5 minutes, sir.
I don't know, why? ‘they both are acting like this’. So, I decided to be silent. I went to my cabin but Min Ai didn't seem to notice me. She is very much into the work. So I started to work. Again Ju long called me to know where I am? I let him know that I'm at my cabin.
After that, he went towards Min Ai. They were catching up during a small break-in. I worked like I didn't notice them. After I finished my work…...
Min Ai , I finished my work. Shall we go now? I asked her.
If you are finished with your work then go. Why are you bothering me? Min Ai said with annoyance.
Min Ai's every word hurt me. But I didn't show any of my feelings. I just said Ok.
I went to our apartment. I cried because I can't take it anymore. Because they both are hurting me without a correct reason. I slept while crying because there was too much pressure today.
The next morning, I went to the kitchen to make breakfast to eat. Even in the morning, I approached Min Ai. But still, she continued to hurt me. So I decided to take a vacation.
I sent mail to Ju long that my mother is sick, I have to go to India for one month. I got a reply in a fraction of a second. After finishing my breakfast. I packed my things and booked a flight ticket.
I didn't tell the time of my flight to Min Ai and Ju long. Because I don't want to get hurt again. So, I decided to leave like this.
I wrote a letter to Min Ai :
Dear Min min,
I'm going to leave China for one month. I don't know why you are different from me. If I hurted you with my words or actions, that's why you are like this to me. I'm extremely sorry. You know that, “I’m a sensitive and emotional idiot”. I can't take it, when my favorite people are harsh to me. So I asked for vacation leave for one month to our CEO Mr.Ju Long. I didn't tell you about my flight time because I can't take it. if you hurt me again. Sorry for that, and sorry for everything. And Don't worry about me, I will find another apartment after I arrive in China again. I love you. And still, you are my best friend and you will be. I'm moving out because I don't want to disturb you anymore. About your brother, I don't know why? He keeps hurting me. I think even if you say this to him. He won't mind this.

I left this letter at the Min Ai door handle. And I left for the airport.
