Chapter 7–Vivian Black Plan
There was peace because Vivian wanted it to be, but she has a perfect plan to throw that bad luck out of her life for good, but she needed to discuss it with her husband; no matter what, she has to, convince him today
The day started just like any other day. John sat down on the balcony and for once anted to enjoy the peace as a closed his eyes.
"There you are, Honey." Vivian said as she appeared from the other side of their room, with a document in hand, "I've being looking allover for you."
"Why? Hope nothing is wrong." Eyeing the document in her hands.
"No, dear, nothing is wrong." She smiled and Sat down.
"Okay." He continued to bathe in the sunlight, when was the last time he enjoyed such thing
"It's just, I've been thinking of a better road for Rose so..."
Signing out loud, "here we go again." He closed his eyes. There can never be peace, ah he should have gone to the company if he wanted to enjoy some silence. At least there' no one can disturb him unless he wants to.
Seeing the expression on her husband's face, Mrs. Black has to up her game and play a new character. If not, he won't believe this to be any good to his daughter.
"Just hear me out, will you?" She said putting on an innocent face "I hate having to fight all the time, and I know it's because of it, that you are not always at home, so I just came up with a way for her to go out, and study instead of being rebellious at home." she said, and bent her head down.
John stared at his wife, wondering why the sudden change of attitude; what she was saying makes sense only if it will be of help to his child, it doesn't matter what, "let me have a look."
"Sure." She smiled and handed the document to him
In the document, there were three types of enrollments; as he continued, one was a three years enrollment in any study under science. That was his daughter's field. She wanted to be a doctor.
The others were, in social science and Art but there were six or seven years, too long, but the first one will help her, although the three-year enrollment does not guaranty a doctor's degree but at least it will give her the knowledge she needed; when she returns and takes the enrollment for the Doctoring degree, after she is just eighteen years old.
Vivian watch her husband as he examined the document happily, good that means he will give his consent.
Now, all she needed to do, was signed her name, good thing that the enrollment allows a change of years, of course her husband, doesn't need to know that, all she needs to do is give them money, for it not to be suspicious. She will write a letter and attach it to the document.
A letter to tell the professor to lecture his daughter on all the required topics, she needs to become good in her field even if it took forever. She didn't care As long as she disappears for good.
"See, I told you it will be good for her." She said and stood up "now let me go prepare the document that's needed."
"Sure." He smiled at her, wait "what do you mean, prepare the documents?" that should be his job and not hers, he looked at her weirdly
"Nothing, I just thought I should help you with that while you rest."
Not going to happen, he loves her but doesn't truth her with anything that has to do with Rose; not one bit "nonsense, what rest? I will take care of the documents myself. So don't worry."
"But dear, let me help you, as her mother I could ….."
"No, no need." He cut her off, then asked, "why are you so adamant to help? You have helped enough by providing a suggestion. Now let me take it from here, okay."
"Of course, love." She said and clutches her cloth, damn he always come in between her plans.
He turned to her. "Oh, sweetheart, lose the good mother attitude, it does not suit you. I love you just the way you are." He smiled and continued, "we discuss this at dinner, oh, and thanks for thinking about her in a good way; for once." He waved the papers and sat down again.
Mrs. Black just stared at her husband, shocked; he knew she was acting, how? What good thinking, she meant to get her reed of her, not to help her.
She should have prepared the documents needed before bringing it to him. Now she was regretting ever bringing such a suggestion, "Bastard." She mutters,
He heard her caused at him, but he just lifted his head, winked, and smile at her before she stormed off in anger. Ah, now he can enjoy the silence again, at least before dinner.
It was a dinner like any another. Rose came down to eat thinking of new ways to frustrate her mothers, and a plan she might have come up, but little does she know that, the plan this time could not be frustrated.
Rose sat down; from the side of her eyes, she could see her mother's cheerful expression, so of course she must have planned something, but as they ate, nothing happened.
