He looked at the ceiling and exhaled. The same battle: he wanted Bill inside him, but he also wanted to be something other than a sexual conquest.

So he did pushups and sit-ups for thirty minutes, followed by fifteen minutes with a foam roller. If someone, say Bill, wanted to put Scott’s ankles past his ears, he had to stay flexible, right?

Stop thinking about sex, you.Who was he kidding? He’d been working out in only a jockstrap without considering more clothing. He took a deep breath and told himself it was reasonable to be frustrated. He hadn’t been touched in months.

Now that he’d worked up a light sheen of fresh sweat, he put towels down on his sheets and climbed into bed. He did as Bill instructed, grabbed a cologne sample left over from his job at the department store, and began recording himself on his phone.
