“I agree with your mom, Toby. The two of you should make it official. What do you think, Deborah, Daniel?”
David jumped into the conversation in that moment. “You all know one another?”
Deborah nodded. “I’d met Samantha when I went to the inter-school competitions between your high school and Tobias’s. We’d exchanged numbers back then, but we only got back in touch recently when you and Tobias dated each other.”
“What about Dad and Thomas?”
“Samantha and Thomas invited your mother and I out for afternoon tea a couple of times over the past two weeks,” David’s father replied. “We also had dinner once just last week. We’ve gotten much closer after that.”
“Diana and I were there for dinner, as well,” Denise spoke up while smirking at David.
“Exciting stuff, big brother,” Diana said before snickering out loud. “When is the wedding date?”
David blushed even redder than a tomato. “Nothing like that. Toby and I are still getting to know each other.”
