Sensing that the speech had helped, Yuuki continued. “And one more thing. I’m not what you think I am. I mean, I’m not what shethinks I am.” Turning to Kenna, “I thought you knew. I figured the guys would’ve told you. Or you’d be able to tell up close. Or something.”

“Know what?” the two assassins said almost simultaneously.

He took another step back. “I’m a chick.”

What?! Kenna wasn’t sure she’d really heard that, and she certainly couldn’t believe it.

Until Yuuki pulled down his shirt enough to reveal the barest hints of cleavage. On closer inspection, while Yuuki was certainly dressed like a man, her features were quite feminine. Lips, eyes, cheekbones, curves, stature and proportions, etc. Ken hadn’t noticed it in the dark, and the voice certainly sounded masculine enough. But there could be no denying it. She’d just made out with a twenty-two-year-old woman.
