“Your witch heritage is dominant regardless of your father’s last name. You will always be a Thornton.”

“Is Aurelius your real name?”

“Of course it is.”

“And Chatzis?”

“It is my real last name.”

“Why did you have a last name?”

“Why not?”

“Never mind. What happens if you shave?”

“My hair will grow back almost immediately. All vampires will remain the way they were when they…turned.”
