Barry looked down at Jimmy’s face—the mussed hair, the crease in his chin from the pillow. He reached out and made everything smooth again. Jimmy was real. Jake was real. Their love was real. He let out a sigh of contentment.
“You okay?” Jake asked from behind him.
And wasn’t that so just like his Jake, always picking up on his mood?
Barry turned around to look at his other cowboy lover and smiled. “I’m very okay.”
Jimmy’s stomach took that moment to rumble. “I’ll start breakfast.”
Barry made to rise but Jimmy and Jake stopped him.
“No, stay here where it’s warm. We’ll get everything ready and bring it to you,” Jake said.
“Breakfast in bed?” Barry asked.
Jimmy bent down and kissed Barry softly on the lips. “All part of the service.”
The bed soon grew cold without his cowboys, but Barry stayed where he was told.
