Elena tapped a little foot, outfitted with Ugg boots, on the tile floor of the entryway.

“Elena has a pair of Ugg boots.” Ian pointed out the boots to Colin.

Colin and Ian eyed Sean questioning.

“I had serious objections to the Ugg boots but was overruled.” Those are two hundred dollar boots. It would be different if she were older, but she’ll outgrow those boots in a year, Sean remembered telling Armand.

Armand’s answer had Sean not speaking to him for two days. “We’ll get her another pair next year then if she still wants them.”

“She can’t have everything she sees. It’s not good for her character.” Sean had told Armand.

“I’ve almost given up any attempt to stop him from spoiling her. He’s incorrigible.” Sean shook his head.

Colin and Ian’s gazes met, and they couldn’t help but smirk. Colin stepped up to the frowning Armand clearing his throat to cover the quiet laughter. “Alpha, maybe we should bring Elena and her governess up to her room.”
