章 1248: Heavens’ justice

Everyone gasped when they saw Gu Mu faint, only Yu Dong had no change in her expression. She very calmly raised her brows and then said, "What a surprise, looks like the heavens will have to put in an effort this time around if they want to punish the evil ones." 

Yu Dong's voice was calm while Ye Liu tugged at sleeves, he was worried that his wife would end up giving her secret in front of everyone. Yu Dong however knew her limits, she knew that the people of this time were really superstitious even if they had doubts there was no way they would be able to realise that the one who caused these thunderbolts. 

"Miss Gu! Even if you faint now! The heavens eyes will not be blinded!" Yu Dong patted Ye Liu on the back of his hand and then turned to look at the woman who was lying on the ground. She could see that Gu Mu's eyes were moving under her eyelids which meant that she was still awake. 

And was only pretending to be unconscious.
