章 144: The Fifth Month Of Pregnancy

"Leandro! I gained weight!" she sobbed as she tried to run towards me. 

The palace would take six more months to finish. So, we were still staying at the mansion. Everyone knew that Ella was going to be my wife and that she was pregnant with my child. Since everyone knew that it was my child, we decided to delay our wedding ceremony. Rather, we only registered our names as husband and wife. 

"I know! Baby, don't run!" I said, quickly stopping her. 

She was five months pregnant now. She was usually very careful, but every time she would check her weight and see that she gained some kilograms, she would run toward me. But today, she was a bit strange. Usually, she was happy that she was gaining weight since it meant that the baby was growing well. But this time, she was crying. 

"I gained weight!" she cried, hugging me. 

"Yes, but why are you crying?" I asked, patting her on the back gently.
