While they were scheming their own, far from this region, in Kaairoes, the grand hall of Beltar Miraqen's estate stood as a testament to the lord's wealth and influence. 

Tall, ornate pillars lined the expansive room, supporting a ceiling adorned with intricate patterns that bore witness to the craftsmanship of a bygone era. The air was tinged with the scent of aged wood and the flickering light of torches, casting shadows that danced across the walls. In the centre of the hall, a massive chandelier hung, sparkling with countless crystals that illuminated the space with a mesmerising glow. The sound of hushed whispers and soft footsteps echoed through the hall as servants moved gracefully, attending to the needs of their esteemed guests. 

At one end of the hall, a long table stretched out, flanked by sturdy chairs on either side. It was here that the pivotal meeting between Beltar Miraqen and Duke Osalde of Kys Elanores would unfold.
