章 26: Intruders
Rhaet and Sner, both of them immersed in one on one battle.
At a glance at their battle, it seemed like both of them were evenly matched.
Ivar was laughing crazily while fighting. He too had an axe, like his father, but it was short and had a small head.
Egnav supported him by luring them in and Ivar killed them. The duo performed well to kill their opponents. They didn't talk much but their coordination was spot on.
Solvwulf was not having a hard time fighting them because the men of the Isu tribe seemed to lack fighting skills. It was because most of them weren't warriors but village workers. So it was a bit easy even though they had numbers.
Katheryn who was not seen till now appeared at the village entrance and walked towards the group charging at the village. Those men were all running unsteadily.
Katheryn had a short sword in her right hand and a dagger in her left. Her ponytail shook at the back of her head as he began running. She did not hesitate to jump into a horde of men.
As soon as she reached the group and she bent her body down to the ground and sliced on their Achilles's tendons. Four of the men fell right after their Achilles was cut. Then she plunged her sword into their hearts one by one while defending herself with her other hand.
She paid no effort to kill the group.
Aragon was told by Katheryn to stay in his home, which was on the hilltop. So he was watching from the window. He could see the whole village from his home.
Katheryn now stood in the path between the home and the men of the Isu tribe. So she could keep an eye on Aragon while fighting.
But two men already reached his home escaping her grasp. She had no way of leaving as she was already fighting with three men.
Those two men came in and looked around. They didn't know that Aragon was in there. They had escaped from her because they were afraid of dying. Those two men were village workers. They didn't know how to fight. Witnessing the death of their fellows, fear completely masked them, and wanted to run away and ended up in the house.
The two men frantically rushed upwards after glancing around.
As they came up and then met with Aragon.
Those two clasped the blade tightly. The blades in their hands were all rusty and worn out.
As they saw Aragon, startled to see him, one of them ran straight at him. Another one yelled, "He's just a boy!"
It was too late, the rusty blade was already reached Aragon to stab in his stomach.
To their surprise, Aragon stood with an indifferent expression. He observed them from the moment when the two entered the home.
Aragon caught a rusty weapon with his bare hands. Then he bent his hand which made the blade break.

Both men were bewildered to see the scene. The boy just snapped that short blade like it was a stick.
