章 142: Mateo and Nox are one

Being stuck in wolf form was beyond embarrassing.

I did my best to focus on not tripping on my own legs. Lazarus was not helpful, so I decided to keep it together until we get home. There was no way in hell I would show that bastard how vulnerable I was.

From the moment we had privacy, Serina was urging me to talk to Nox and figure out how I shifted in the first place in order to do the same thing in reverse, but the only thing I could remember about the shift was the pain that pushed me to the verge of passing out. And to make things worse, my words were just growls and whimpers to Serina and Nox was not there.

I remembered Nox talking when I changed into wolf form, but then his voice became fainter until I couldn't hear him anymore.

I could feel his presence, but somehow… it was me. What the hell? Did he manage to take over?
